Questions on fear.

Why do we care.

Why do we feel.

Fear is a drop of black water in an ocean of multicolored emotions.

It's the darkest, most obfuscated, scary emotion.

It's causes hearts to race and judgement to slow.

It makes people do strange things, but why?

They are afraid.

What is it???

What makes people afraid of a non poisonous spider crawling across the bridge of their nose?

Why do they jerk away quickly when their toes creep out from the blankets and hang an inch or two over the side of the bed?

Why do they run away as fast as they possibly can when going up a dark stairway, in their own home?

Where do these all come from?

And how could we create them?

If we could create a system to make people have irrational fears, could we solve many of the world's problems unethically?

Like giving people an irrational fear of eating fast food.

Or being on time?

Or committing crimes?

Or littering?

That's almost how speeding tickets are.

Whenever you are speeding or not wearing your seatbelt, there will be a cop there. Guaranteed. Every time.

We could harness the power of fear and create a perfect society.

Or what if we went the other way around and made fears go away?

How may more people would die every year?

Now everybody is going to think I'm a crazy person, but just think about it.
